Congratulations to all of our brothers and sisters who made their Sacraments at Easter Vigil!

Please pray for the 70 candidates preparing to make the Sacrament of Confirmation on April 16.

The celebration of the Solemnity of the Annunciation of the Lord commemorates the visit of the angel Gabriel to the Virgin Mary to inform her that she was to be the mother of our Savior. After giving her consent to God’s word, Mary conceives Jesus in her womb and becomes the mother of Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit. God becomes incarnate in the womb of a woman, and “the Word became flesh” (John 1:14).

The Consolata Guild along with the Knights of Columbus from Our Lady of Consolation and Assumption Parishes will be hosting a fish fry on Friday, April 12 from 4:30 PM-7:00 PM in the FLC Gym at Assumption. All proceeds will be donated to the Consolata African Missions.

Adults ($12 – Seniors $10): Choice of Fried or Baked Hake Choice of French Fries, Baked Potato. or Mac-ncheese, Applesauce, Cole Slaw, and Green Beans, Hushpuppy and Roll with Butter

Kids ($5): Choice of Fish, Cheese Pizza or Mac-N-Cheese Applesauce, Cole Slaw, Green Beans and French Fries
