Bereavement Ministry

Our Bereavement Team assists with funeral arrangements, planning, and service during the Funeral Mass.

Ministers of Holy Communion to the Sick and Homebound

EMHC’s may receive additional training to bring Holy Communion to those individuals who, by illness or hospitalization, are separated from the community and cannot regularly attend Mass.

Altar Servers

These servers enhance the quality of the celebration for the whole assembly by giving the priest freedom of movement, ensuring all the requisites for the celebration are available at the appropriate moments and by taking part in the processions (General Instruction of the Roman Missal 68).

Ministers of Hospitality (Ushers / Greeters)

Our Ministers welcome parishioners and help ensure a smooth running of our liturgies.

Ministers of Holy Communion

In addition to bringing the sacrament of the Body and Blood of Christ to the people of God, Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion witness to faith in the real presence of Christ by their actions and by the dignity and reverence with which they treat the Body of Christ.

Audio/Visual Ministries

The ministry of the Live Stream Operators, Sound Board Operators, and PowerPoint Operators assist the assembly gathered in person or around the world in that “fully conscious and active and participation which is demanded by the very nature of liturgy” (Sacrosanctam Concilium 14).

Readers

In proclaiming the word of God, our readers exercise their responsibility in mediating the presence of Christ to the gathered community.
