Sacristans work behind the scenes of our liturgies by setting up Mass materials, preparing the hosts and wine, and cleaning and storing vessels following the liturgy. Sacristans should already be serving as Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion.
*Adults and teens 15+ in this ministry who handle money and/or work with children and vulnerable populations must complete Safe Environment training and a background check.
