The voices of young children- yes, even cries and screams- remind us that our parish is growing; God’s love is growing.

Remember that how we welcome children in church directly affects how they respond to Mass, the Church, God, and one another. God has handcrafted every wiggle, giggle, and cry. Let them know that they are welcome in this place.

During Mass, please utilize the resources available for children of all ages and return at the end of Mass. The Little Saints Library, located in the back of the Narthex, has board books, seek and find, and light reads on the Church and Saints. Magnifikids, a Sunday missalete and prayer guide for ages 6-12, is a great companion for older children to have in the pew with them.

As we are called to draw one another closer to Christ, we highly encourage all children to participate in Mass to the fullest extent possible. If needed, babies/toddlers accompanied by their parent/guardian may utilize the Cry Room (Elizabeth Ann Seton Room), and the long hallways to move their feet. Please use these areas for quick breaks and return to the Church to continue praying with us.
