Our parish offers opportunities to study the Scriptures or books on Christian faith in a group setting. In our sessions, we spend time to get to know one another, dive into a book or text, and discover how God is present and speaking to us in our lives. Teens and adults are invited to the programs.
Men’s Scripture Study
Men of St. Stephen: Do you desire to go deeper into your faith? Do you want to strengthen your knowledge of and relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ? Join Fr. George Nursey and your St. Stephen brothers for a morning of Scripture reading, reflection, and prayer. We meet every Wednesday morning from 7:45 am- 8:45 am in Conference Room 111. Contact Fr. Young Adult Bible Study
Calling all young adults! The St. Stephen Young Adult Ministry is kicking off a Bible study focused on the Deuterocanonical books of the Bible. The first meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 25 at 6:30 pm in Room 111. Anyone aged 18-35 is encouraged to bring their Bible and join in for an evening of scripture study and fellowship. Women’s Lenten Book Study
Women are invited to join us for an engaging study on No Greater Love: A Biblical Walk through Christ’s Passion by Edward Sri, beginning on Thursday, March 6. Experience a deeper understanding and appreciation of God’s immeasurable and self-giving love for you as we revisit the last hours of Jesus’ life. Meetings are from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm noon in Conference Room 111. The total cost of book and workbook is $27.95. Classes are limited to 40 persons. Lenten Book Study with Father George
Join us this Lent as we read from Fr. Wilfrid Stinissen’s book, Into Your Hands, Father: Abandoning Ourselves to the God Who Loves Us, and learn to surrender our whole selves to God as Jesus did throughout his mission, and in his Passion and death. Placing ourselves into God’s hands, we are moved to contemplate the loving heart of God. The first meeting is on Thursday, March 6. Meetings are from 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm in Conference Room 111.
